Visual Numerics Announces Two New Partnerships in
Japan - Terrabyte Corporation and PC WORKS
Visual Numerics announced two new partnerships with
leading Japanese companies to distribute the Fortran and C
versions of the IMSLTM Numerical
Library as well as PV-WAVE 8.0 within Japan. The
distribution agreements with Terrabyte Corporation, Ltd.
and PC WORKS Ltd. give Visual Numerics a competitive edge
in providing numerical analysis and visualization
solutions to a broader range of customers in Japan's
manufacturing, automotive, medical and government
industries. Both companies will use PV-WAVE as the
software for developing and reselling their own business
solutions, and will resell the IMSL Libraries directly to
their core customers.

TS-WAVE for Time Series Analysis
As a follow-up to the recent PV-WAVE 8.0 release,
Visual Numerics would like to remind customers to check
out TS-WAVETM for robust time
series analysis. TS-WAVE is a fully functional, highly
extensible application that allows plot creation and batch
processing of large datasets. The power of TS-WAVE lies in
its ability to easily add user functions, access any
PV-WAVE function or mathematical or statistical function
in PV-WAVE Advantage, or access any function in an
existing C or Fortran program. In addition, time history
and X-Y plots can be defined in an interactive mode.
