Xpress-IVE and Xpress-Mosel

Xpress-IVE and Xpress-Mosel represent the next generation of optimization and modeling software.

Xpress-Mosel introduces a new purpose built modeling and optimization programming language. The model programs you write are compiled, and can be run interactively or embedded within your application. Once compiled, the model programs are ready to be distributed directly with your application. The language includes extension libraries, including ones giving you direct control of the Xpress-Optimizer and ODBC data transfer.

Express complex problems easily

Easy to use visual development environment Xpress-IVE is the development environment, a Visual Studio for optimization modeling. It features a Mosel model program editor, debugger and execution environment. An entity tree for examining the entities within your model program, including all decision variables and constraints, which allows you to view the solution values of the entities when available. Projects, to organize the files that make up a Mosel model program. And you can analyze the performance of the Optimizer through runtime visualization.

Easy to use visual development environment

Xpress-Mosel and Xpress-IVE complement the existing Xpress-MP products Xpress-Optimizer and Xpress-BCL. Together they give you a choice of three ways to build optimization models and applications, each with their different strengths. Xpress-Mosel provides a powerful yet easy-to-learn language specifically designed for rapidly for building and solving optimization models, supported by its visual development environment, Xpress-IVE. Xpress-BCL enables you to build up optimization models within your own programs, with an object oriented approach. And for those familiar with optimization subroutine libraries, you can build applications directly interfacing with the Xpress-Optimizer.
