The algebraic modeling language has been extended to support the new semi-continuous integer variables introduced in the Optimizer. The new SI bound type allows semi-continuous variables to be specified in models used with Visual Xpress, mp-model, XMSL and EMOSL.

The existing ODBC data connector is complemented by a new ADO data connector. It allows you to import and export data between an ADO data source and your model running in Visual Xpress, mp-model, XMSL and EMOSL.
