New Installation Process and Layout
A simplified installation process and directory layout makes it easy for you to start using Xpress-MP right away. All Xpress-MP executables, DLLs and license files are automatically added to the Windows Path, and similar treatment for the application development files means you can start developing applications with minimal setup work.

New and Revised Documentation
The documentation has been completely revised and rewritten. We have responded to your requests to group all Optimizer documentation in a single manual, replacing the main Reference Manual, XOSL Reference Manual, and various other documents. Now you can find a unified description of the commands of Optimizer console and the functions of Optimizer C/C++, together with a detailed listing of all controls and problem attributes in a single comprehensive Optimizer Reference Manual.

The new Xpress Essentials gives a tutorial style introduction to all components of the Xpress-MP software suite, including Mosel, IVE, BCL and Optimizer.

New style manuals for Optimizer, BCL, Modeler, EMOSL and Xpress Essentials are provided as hyperlinked HTML documents or PDF files suitable for printing.
