TS-WAVE was originally developed by Visual
Numerics' Consulting Services Group. With this release, TS-WAVE is
now a member of the PV-WAVE family of development solutions. The
PV-WAVE family allows you to rapidly import, manipulate, analyze
and visualize your data. With its set of comprehensive solutions,
PV-WAVE has earned its place as the choice among experts.
Version 3.0 Improvements
The ability to combine data from different
files as input to the analysis and graphing object, makes TS-WAVE
more flexible.
Now, data from yesterday's test can be compared with today's test
data; many flights can be seen at the same time; data from each
quarter can be seen side by side; predictive or simulation data
can be easily compared to actual collected data; etc. This makes
it possible to make more accurate predictions and comparisons.
An added Contour graph object, a
user-requested enhancement that provides new graphics
functionality helps TS-WAVE better serve the marketplace.
Standard PV-WAVE Visual Data Analysis (VDA) objects provided
within the Navigator, along with the Header and Graph Objects
remain an integral component of TS-WAVE's ease of use. The
addition of the contour object extends the traditional X-Y
plotting capabilities of TS-WAVE to allow 2-D contour plots.
Improved datahandlers, makes it easier to
develop custom datahandlers for proprietary file formats.
In version 3.0, the datahandlers greatly simplify the level of
implementation required to imcorporate proprietary file formats
into TS-WAVE.
